Byron Scott Fired

The New Orleans Hornets fired head coach Byron Scott earlier in the week and will be replaced by their GM. First of all why would you fired a head coach this early in the season. Honestly I dont think that was a good move for the Hornets. I don't think firing a coach within ten games of a season is a right move at all. Byron took them to the semi-finals last year. Now I think if your going to fire somebody you need to first give him at least 20 games into the saeson. I thought he was a good Coach. Now I don't know what their going to do and how good their going to be.

Most Dominant Team In MLB

Everybody knows who the best team is in the MLB. By far it's the New York Yankees with 27 world championships over their long team history. But who has the second most championships in the Major League? How many do they have? The team that has the second most amount of championships is the St. Louis Cardinals. But they are not even as close to 27 championships of the Yankees. Just to show you how dominant they have been, the Cardinals have only 10 champions. Now just that number alone shows how dominant they have been. Second place for total titles is 10. 17 title difference. Thats crazy.

Michigan's Tate Forcier

Last weekend we all saw highlights or the actual game of Michigan Vs. number 18 Notre Dame. For the people who just saw the highlights you saw that michigan upset Notre Dame 38 to 34 in the final seconds of the 4th quarter. But if you didn't watch the game you didn't see freshman QB by the name of Tate Forcier. He took over the Wolverine offense and pushed the Irish defense around the whole game. Now seeing how Tate did last week I think in a few years he could be the next Tim Tebow. He stood up against the great Notre Dame defense.

Out Of The Ordinary

Usually I would blog about the newest sports stories in the U.S.A. But not this blog. This blog is going to be about the United States Military who are working everyday of their lives to keep us safe in our homes. There are thousands of men and women who are out in the world everyday fighting for us. Some don't come home at all and leave entire families behind. I can't imagine the feeling of losing my father, mother, sister, brother, cousin, aunt, uncle, or any one of my friends. I don't know if I could move on from that thought. So I ask that everybody try to understand what these families must be going through even now with family overseas. This past Sunday in Goldsboro, North Carolina, the U.S. Air Force sent out the 335th Fighter Squadron to Afghanistan for 4 to 6 months. That's going to be some of the hardest months of their families' lives. So please keep them in your prayers as they go into the heart of the flames. (AP Photo/News-Argus, Greg Sousa)

Brett Favre

Brett Favre just started playing for the Vikings and now he's on the disabled list with cracke ribs. Isn't that great for the vikings, They wait til mid-way through te pre-season to join the Vik's and then that splits the locker room in half and on top of that he gets injured. That's just perect for them. Their paying ten million dollars for himto play and he can't now. Coming out of retirement to play and gets himself hurt.

2011

The NFL does'nt know if it will have a 2011 season due to the horrible economy that the United States is in right now. Think about that and let it sink in for a second. Think about the USA not having a NFL season. What re we gunna do september through february. Literally thats what the US enjoys every Sunday. Yea we like the NBA and the World Series of Baseball but its not the same. Football is like a Religion Here. Imagine no Monday Night Football, no Super Bowl, no Playoffs. Thats a Horrible thought is'nt it. It's like losing a Parent. The NFL is the United Staes Daddy.

Brett Favre Decides Not To Stay Retired

Former New York Jet and Green Bay Packer Brett Favre decides to come out of retirement and play a season with the Minnestoa Vikings. Ok this is where i have to draw the line with him. Everybody knows that he is a good Quarterback. I could understand why he came out of retirement when he went to play with the Jets. He just didnt look like he wanted to retire after his playoff run with the Packers. But now he's going to play with the Jets? He needs to decide when he's going to retire because im getting sick of hearing about him coming out of retirement. This is the second time. When players retire their saying that they can't play anymore not that they wanna go play for another team. I think this should be his last time playing a season. He retired twice now. I am losing all respect for him because of this situation. Plus he said he wasnt going to play two weeks ago. But now in the middle of Pre-Season he decides to play. He's messed up

John Smoltz Again.

John Smolz is pitching horribly. he needs to be taken out of the starting rotation from the Boston Red Sox. Last night was the final straw. He was in the game for three innings. THREE INNINGS. He allowed eight hits six runs and four walks and three strikeouts. He sucks right now. It's august now and these are the most crucial games of the saeson and you need to win. The losses now are going to hurt you even more now than in the beginning of the season. This is Pre-Playoff time. everybodys fighting for a spot and every loss can mean a game farther away from the playoffs

Nick-picking about Michael Carbtree

Michael Crabtree was drafted tenth overall to the San Francisco 49ers last april in the NFL draft. Its august now and he still hasn't signed a deal with the 49ers. Now there has been reports about him possibly skipping the season and entering the draft again next year. He's thinking about possibly doing that beacuse he feels he hasn't been offered a good enough deal by the 49ers. Sports Center Heard rumors that he might be asking too much from the 49ers. Of that's true why is he trying to make a lot of money if he can't even play. He currently has a surgicly repaired knee and cant play at 100% yet. If your a rookie and your injured their not gunna give you millions and millions of dollars. I think he should agree to a deal with the 49ers and then try to dominate his first season in the NFL, then he'll get the money he wants. But he's not gunna get it if he's not gunna play. Plus if he sits out this year and enters the draft again next year I don't think he's gunna be a top ten pick again. I think he will make more money with the 49ers than waiting a whole year to enter the draft next year.

Nickpicking On Major Leagues Baseball's No-Trade-Clause

I don't understand why MLB has a No-Trade-Clause on certain players and then try to trade them but have to require an "ok" from the player. i honestly don't understand why that even exists, because around 2 years after they signed the player and he has a no trade clause, and the team wants to trade him they cant. The teams shouldnt offer players No-Trade-Clause Because they dont know what their situation can be years after they signed the player. They might have no choice but to try and trade that player or feel like they can find better value for the player.

Nickpicking about Boston Red Sox Trade

The boston Red Sox have aquired catcher Victor Martinez from the Cleveland Indians. They have also traded newley aquierd Firstbaseman Adam LaRoche to the Atlanta Braves Casey Kotchman. Why did the the Red Sox trade Adam For another First baseman? The Victor Martinez i can understand but i dont understand the trade for Casey Kotchman. They have traded a Firstbaseman for another First Baseman. I don't understand that.

Nickpicking on Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom has agreed to a four year 33 million dollar deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers and Odom have been trying to agree a deal to keep Odom in L.A. For a while the Lakers seemed that they wouldnt be able to sign him after they signed Ron Artest from the Houston Rockets. After the signing things got a little rough between the Lakers and Lamar. After Lamar and the Lakers stopped talking Dwayne Wade started to try and recruit Odom to the Miami Heat. But apparently it didnt work. The Lakers now look like they can go for a second title in a row. So now Lamar will join Kobe for another year to run for the championship.

Nickpicking about the Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded their second baseman Freddy Sanchez to the San Francisco Giants. The pirates on the otherhand seem to not be able to keep their starting players. Since the 2008 season(in the past 2 yeras) the pirates have traded 9 of their 11 starting players. I think if they would have not traded any of the players they have in the past two years they would have a championship contending team. I don't understand why teams like the pirates have to trade every player on their team after a couple years. The Pirates have traded off almost every player on their roster since 2005. Why? their not going to be a team over .5oo if they keep trading all their players.

Nickpicking on Roy Halladay

It looks like Roy Halladay just might be staying in Toronto. Apparently no team gave them a quality offer for him. Or did they? Are the toronto Bluejays asking too much for their star pitcher? Is this the rason why he hasnt been traded yet? Or are the teams who want Roy Halladay not willing to give the Jays the offer that their looking for. Are the teams over pricing their prospects? Or Are the teams and the Bluejays just not agreeing to deals that either or team is willing to agree to. If he is traded, which ever team can snatch him now has a starting pitcher that can give a team at least 7 strong innings and can hold his own. But if he's not to be traded by 4:00 today I can tell you he's gunna be up for trades in november after the season.

Nickpicking On The Newest Trade In The MLB

The Cleveland Indians have traded their ace pitcher Cliff Lee and outfielder Ben Francisco to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies(who have been trying to trade for Toronto Bluejays ace pitcher Roy Halladay)gave the Indians 4 prospects in their Triple-A farm team for Clevelands ace pitcher. Cliff Lee has a record of 7-9 with an ERA of 3.14 and 109 strikeouts and 33 walks in 152 innings pitched. Last year he won the American League Cy Young award with a record of 22-3 with a 2.54 ERA with 177 strikeouts and 33 walked batters in 223 innings pitched

Nickpicking On Newest NBA Trade

Today in the NBA the Charlotte Bobcats and the New Orleans Hornets have agreed to swap their big men.The Bobcats Have Traded Emeka Okafor for the Hornets Tyson Chandler. Is this a good deal. I honestly didnt think that Tyson Chandler had that great of a year last year. Emeka Okafor is a rising star in the NBA. I think that he's gunna become a dominate force in the NBA in the near future

Nickpicking On The Death Of Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson was the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles For the past 10 years and made that defense a dominant force in the NFL. Jim Johnson Died with a long battle with cancer. He left the NFL with 23 years of coaching and produced 26 Pro Bowl selections over the 10 years as coach. He Had the Eagles finish in second place in sacks in the 10 year span as Eagles coach. R.I.P. Jim Johnson

Nickpicking About Brett Favre

In the end he stays retired. Brett Favre decides not to play for the Minnesota Vikings. Why did he take so long to make his decision on weather or not to play this year. I understand he had to take time to decide if he could play for an entire season in the NFL. What I don't understand is why he waited until a couple days before training camp for the Vikings. This is going to hurt the Vikings more than most people know. Now they have to continue into their training camp without a definate starting QB.

Nickpicking About Boston Red Sox Pitcher John Smoltz

Why? What i don't understand is why do they keep a pitcher in the starting rotation and cannot win a game. He is pitching very badly and hasnt been able to stay in a game for more than six innings. His record is 1 win and 4 losses, with an ERA of 7.01. He's 42 years old and can only have at least 2 more years left in him.
